A growing grass fire that began Saturday afternoon in San Joaquin County, California, has consumed over 11,000 acres, forcing residents in its path to evacuate.

Fire crews working the Corral Fire got some relief from the weather and were able to make progress Sunday morning in trying to bring the blaze under control. The fire is now 20% contained.
